Our History
Christ Community Church:
A Journey of Faith
Founded in April 1995 by Bishop Deanza Cunningham and his wife, Edris Cunningham, Christ Community Church was born out of prayer and vision alongside the Rolles, Duvaliers, and Thompsons families. After facing challenges leaving the Brethren Church, including Edris’s illness and recovery, the church began in the Cunningham home in Colony Village. The founders' physical efforts, like building the foundation and funding construction, laid the groundwork. CCC grew into a thriving ministry with diverse programs, rooted in faith, perseverance, and God's grace.
